FAMILY HISTORY BOOKS
Let us preserve your family history by interviewing your parents or grandparents to gather their memories of the "olden days." We can then scan their vintage photos and compile them into a storybook. The result is an heirloom, with a copy for each member of the family. Here are some examples:

A TREK FROM QUEBEC
This French-Canadian couple migrated from the Isle d'Orleans in Quebec to Maine, then New Hampshire, and finally to Lowell, Massachusetts, with their fourteen children being born at various locations along the way. Among the fourteen were mill workers, a nun, a night watchman, a shop owner, a criminal, and four daughters who became vaudeville entertainers.

FAMILY FOUND
If you come across copies of old family photos, it is likely that other family members have photos as well. This story about a matriarch and patriarch from Scotland came together after connections to other branches of the tree were made through ancestry.com and social media. Enthusiastic responses from extended family resulted in a stunning picture book that includes photos from as far back as the 1870s, and also led to a family reunion.

A TRUE BIOGRAPHY
When your grandparents have lived through the San Francisco earthquake and fire, and have saved newspaper articles, diaries, and memorabilia from that time period, a true biography may be in order. This 300-page book was a year-long project for the visionary author and for me as the book designer. Documenting this couple's lives, the immigration experiences of their own grandparents from Cornwall, and their work, travels, tragedies, and triumphs in the United States, resulted in a masterpiece of family history.
